Why Team Mare:
As someone who has been navigating chronic migraine disease for the last 8 years, Miles for Migraine is a cause that means a lot to me.
I try my hardest to find the balance between not letting this disease define me — while also making sure I advocate for myself and others in the migraine community. Migraine disease affects over 1 billion people worldwide, yet it’s still widely misunderstood and under researched.
Thats why I’m challenging myself to the 5K — both exciting and scary! I would love your support in raising money, all proceeds go to benefiting critical migraine research and education.
